Welcome to OnPay!
We're excited you're trying us out, and want to help you get the most out of your trial. That's why we've got helpful guides to see you through every step.
Our 30-day free trial details
Whether you're considering switching from another payroll service, or trying online payroll for the first time, this is a big decision. That’s why we offer everyone a 30-day free trial. Within this period, you'll have full access to OnPay’s payroll services, and you can process as many pay runs as you like or take advantage of any HR tools we offer.
When does the 30-day trial begin?
So that you can experience all of OnPay during your trial, the 30 day trial period won't begin until you're completely set up and ready to run payroll. How long this takes can depend on whether you're a new company that’s never paid employees before, or an existing company that has.
If you’re a new company
If you've never paid employees before, we've got you covered. Our team will gladly enter your employee information and set up their profiles for you. Need to hire workers? You can do that in OnPay, too! Once you've completed the 7 step self-onboarding process, and your bank account is verified, your 30-day free trial will begin.
If you’re an existing company with prior payroll history
If your company has already paid employees in the past, we'll need to get your prior wages and employee information into OnPay so that your filings are accurate at the end of the month, quarter, and year. Don't worry, we're happy to do all the heavy lifting. Your free trial will start once all of your employees and their prior pay have been entered.
