Getting the most out of OnPay right away

Welcome to OnPay!

We're excited you're trying us out, and want to help you get the most out of OnPay right away. Whether you're considering switching from another payroll service, or trying online payroll for the first time, this is a big decision. 

That’s why we work to make it easy to try us out, process pay runs, and take advantage of the HR and benefits tools we offer, by providing helpful guides to walk you through every step of setting up your account.

How long does it take to set up and get started?

How long it takes to get set up and ready to run payroll can depend on how many employees you have, and whether you've already paid them this calendar year.

If you haven't paid employees this calendar year

If you have employees, but haven't paid them yet this year, our team will quickly enter their information and set up their employee profiles for you. Need to hire workers? You can do that in OnPay, too! 

If you have paid employees this year

If your company has already paid employees this year, we'll need to get your year-to-date payroll details and employee information into OnPay so your filings are accurate at the end of the quarter, and at year-end. We're happy to do all the heavy lifting, so you can avoid any interruptions in your payroll schedule.

Requests can also be submitted by clicking the link at the bottom of any help article, or by starting a chat from your OnPay dashboard. Submitting a request is the fastest and most secure way to get help with tax matters, technical advice, or any other support you may need from OnPay.

Can't access your OnPay account ?

Your password can be reset by clicking Forgot Password.

If you have Multi-Factor Authentication enabled for your account, but you don't have access to your authenticator, or are otherwise unable to access your account, call us at (877) 328-6505, between 9AM-8PM EST, Monday through Friday, for help.

As a reminder, never share your login credentials or MFA code with anyone. OnPay will never ask you for this information.
