Get started as an Outside Collaborator

At OnPay, our goal is to simplify payroll. One way we do this is by allowing companies to invite professionals from outside their organization to collaborate on their OnPay Dashboard by assigning them the role of Outside Collaborator. An Outside Collaborator may be an individual, or a team of people. They typically are a consulting group, tax agency, bookkeeper, or accounting firm, though there is no restriction on who can be invited as an Outside Collaborator.

As an Outside Collaborator, your access to a company's OnPay Dashboard allows you to manage part or all of the company's processes for payroll, HR, benefits administration, and reporting, depending on the permissions granted by the company.

Your Profile

Account profile setup

In your OnPay profile, you can do more than just update your photo and personal details. You can also manage email notifications, add companies, and take steps to protect your account. You can even use single sign-on!

Protecting your account

It's recommended that you set up Multi-factor authentication to ensure that no one but you has access to your OnPay Profile or Dashboard. If you feel your password has been compromised, you can quickly change your password in your profile. You can also set up a recovery email for password resets.
