Mississippi Letter ID, TPA and Power of Attorney required

Letter ID for the Mississippi Department of Revenue

Submit a request and provide your Letter ID for the Department of Revenue.

Don't know your Letter ID?
Correspondence letters from the Department of Revenue include your Letter ID in the upper right. You can also call the Department of Revenue at (601) 923-7700 to obtain your Letter ID.

 

 Required for OnPay to file on your behalf 

Power of Attorney for the Department of Employment Security

  1. Download the Mississippi DES POA, and complete the "Taxpayer" section
  2. At the bottom of the form, add the taxpayer's signature and title, with the date
  3. Submit a request and attach the completed form

 Required for OnPay to pay on your behalf 

Third-Party Agent for the Department of Employment Security

  1. Log into MDES and go to My User Profile
  2. Click Add User, and enter the following information:
    1. For the "First Name" enter: Stephanie
    2. For the "Last Name" enter: Mendez
    3. Update the User ID "OnPay_CID"
    4. Create a new password
    5. Grant the following functions:
      • Account Maintenance
      • Tax Reporting
      • Maintain Bank Accounts
    6. For "Email Address", enter: tax@onpay.com
    7. Click Accept, then click Next
  3. Once completed, submit a request and provide us with the new username and password

Note: You'll need your OnPay login credentials to submit a request. Trouble logging in?

The tax@onpay.com email address is only used for correspondence between government tax offices and OnPay, and is not regularly monitored. If you need to speak with someone on our tax team, submit a request for support.

Reminder
