How to see your CID

  • Updated

What's a CID?

Your Company ID, or CID, is created whenever you enroll a new company in your OnPay profile. If you have more than one company enrolled in OnPay, they each will have a their own unique Company ID. This allows for, among other things, more secure user permissions and visibility across your organization. It's also helpful to know when speaking with our support team.

Where can I find my Company ID?

Profile / At login

When logging into OnPay, without clicking Enter, click on the company name to see the CID. You can also enable or disable company notification emails. We'll talk about those next.

In notification emails

The Company ID can also be found in every automatic email notification you receive for employee actions or pay runs.

In your Company Dashboard

From your Company Dashboard, click the arrow in the top right corner by your name and company name.

Your Company ID will be in a green tag beneath the company name. If you have multiple companies enrolled, you'll see their CIDs, too. You can even switch company accounts, or edit your profile.
