Granting OnPay Third-Party Access

  • Updated

We work in compliance with Federal and State Tax Offices to represent your company for all payroll tax matters. This generally requires that we be granted secure access to online tax accounts for each tax office in whose jurisdiction you pay employees.

What is TPA?

Sometimes called Third-Party Agent access, Third-Party Access, Tax Payer Access, or something similar, "TPA" generally refers to formal access granted to a third party (like OnPay) to allow access to state tax accounts for the purposes of filing and paying payroll taxes. This access may include power of attorney, though in some states, a separate power of attorney form is also required.
