Now that you've set up OnPay's seamless integration with When I Work, tracking hours and paying your employees will be simple and easy.
What we'll cover
Closing the pay period
Before running payroll, you'll first need to close the pay period in When I Work. This ensures that no changes are made to timesheets while you're processing the run. Here's how→
Starting the pay run
Log into OnPay and run payroll as you normally would by clicking Payroll, selecting employees, and clicking Enter Hours.

Just don't forget to come back here when you're ready to Enter Hours.
Importing hours from When I Work
Click Import Hours. This new button comes with your When I Work integration. When clicked, it tells OnPay to import employee hours from the corresponding pay period in When I Work. This is why your pay periods and employee info must match in both accounts.
A message will ask if you want to reset hours already entered in OnPay. If any earnings have already been entered (like bonuses or commissions), clicking No will add to them the hours imported from When I Work. Selecting Yes Reset Hours will remove all entered hours and earnings from this run, and replace them with the hours and earnings found in the corresponding pay period in When I Work.
Once your import is complete and your payroll is ready for your review, click Review Payroll, and proceed with your pay run as usual.
