For OnPay to effectively calculate state tax contributions, you'll need to ensure the tax rates entered in Onpay are correct for each state where your company has a tax obligations. For example, if you operate in both New Hampshire and Vermont, you must keep payroll tax information up-to-date for each (and every) state where you pay employees.
What you'll need
- New Hampshire Unemployment ID
- New Hampshire Unemployment Insurance Tax Rate
- New Hampshire Administrative Contribution Rate

Where to find your SUI tax information
Refer to the most recent Employer Quarterly Tax Report you received from New Hampshire Employment Security.
- Your Unemployment ID (State Employer Number) is listed in box 2 of your notice
- Your New Hampshire SUI Rate is listed in box 11 of your notice
- Your New Hampshire Admin Contribution Tax Rate is in box 12 of your notice
Where to enter your rate in OnPay
Go to Company, then Payroll Taxes.
Do you pay employees in multiple states?
If so, select New Hampshire under "Payroll Taxes".
Enter the information provided in your tax notice. Use the Update buttons to enter the following rates separately:
- New Hampshire UI Rate (box 11)
- New Hampshire AC Rate (box 12)
When setting your rate, use the pop-up calendar to select the effective date, as indicated in your notice. Click Save when you're done.
