For OnPay to effectively calculate state tax contributions, you'll need to ensure the tax rates entered in Onpay are correct for each state where your company has a tax obligations. For example, if you operate in both Arizona and New Mexico, you must keep payroll tax information up-to-date for each and every state where you pay employees.

Refer to the most recent Determination of Unemployment Tax Rate Notice you received from the Arizona Department of Economic Security.
- Your Arizona Employer Account Number can be found in the upper right
- Your UI Tax Rate can also be found in the upper right
Where to enter your rate in OnPay
Go to Company, then Payroll Taxes.
Do you pay employees in multiple states?
If so, select Arizona under "Payroll Taxes".
Use the Update button to enter your Arizona UI tax rate.
In the pop-up calendar above "Choose Effective Date", select the first date that this rate applies, then enter your rate as a percent in the next field.
Click Save when you're done.
