How to run a Retirement Export

  • Updated

If you use a 401(k) provider that doesn't integrate with OnPay, they may require that you provide updated payroll data every pay period in .csv or .tsv file format. Typically, 401k providers will specify a particular format for data submitted to them, including the order in which the data is organized.

The Retirement Export lets you use drag-and-drop to make sure your report includes the information your 401(k) provider requires, and in the required order.

Go to Reports, and click Retirement Export.

Start by selecting the period and applying any report filters, as you would with any other report.

Unless otherwise directed, include only employees with retirement during the selected period.

Use drag-and-drop to rearrange the order of the included datapoints, or to exclude a datapoint.
