Texas TPA + Form C-42 needed

Important
To effectively communicate with tax offices on your behalf, you must grant us Third Party Administrator access and/or Power of Attorney. Each tax office has its own authorization process, and may require different actions for you to take.

Required: Written Authorization to Represent Employing Unit (Form C-42)

Before you can authorize OnPay to represent your company before the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), you must first complete the Written Authorization to Represent Employing Unit (Form C-42) via DocuSign on Unemployment Tax Services (UTS).

Please use the following steps for submitting the Written Authorization form C-42

  1. Log into Unemployment Tax Services (UTS)
  2. Select Account Info
  3. Select Third Party Authorization from the "Quick Links" menu
  4. The written authorization must be signed by one of the following:
    • Individual, if the Grantor is a sole proprietor, or
    • The owner or an officer of an organization or a partner of a partnership, or
    • Fiduciary or trustee for a trust or estate
  5. Complete the required certification checkbox
  6. Select your "Grantor Work Title"
  7. Complete the required informational fields with OnPay's Information:
    • TWC Account Number can be left blank
    • Our Company Name: OnPay Tax Disbursement LLC
    • Our Mailing Address:

  8. Select the Grant Written Authorization button to proceed to DocuSign

 

Form C-42 DocuSign

  1. Review all account and user information
  2. Review Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure Agreement
  3. Select Continue
  4. Use DocuSign to sign the form
  5. You may print the completed form for your records, if desired

Once the above steps have been completed, submit a request stating that you've signed Form C-42, and are ready for us to initiate a TPA access request with the Texas Workforce Commission.

Third-Party Access (TPA) for the Texas Workforce Commission

Once we've received your request stating that you've signed Form C-42, we'll submit a TPA request to the Texas Workforce Commission for your account.

We'll notify you to let you know that we've submitted our access request, and are ready for you to log into the TWC website and approve our request for TPA access.

Your password can be reset by clicking Forgot Password.

If you have Multi-Factor Authentication enabled for your account, but you don't have access to your authenticator, or are otherwise unable to access your account, call us at (877) 328-6505, between 9AM-8PM EST, Monday through Friday, for help.

As a reminder, never share your login credentials or MFA code with anyone. OnPay will never ask you for this information.
