Reporting Agent Authorization for the Comptroller of Maryland

  1. Download the Maryland Comptroller Reporting Agent Authorization form
  2. Complete Part I regarding your business information
  3. Add the signature of the taxpayer
  4. Submit a request and attach a copy of your form

Power of Attorney for the Maryland Department of Labor

  1. Download the Maryland DOL Power of Attorney form
  2. Complete Part 1 regarding your business information
  3. Add the Effective Date of Authorization and leave the End Date blank in Part 4
  4. Add Signature of Taxpayer
  5. Upload a copy of your completed POA form to your Beacon account, or provide it to us along with your Comptroller RAA

Access you may need to grant upon request

You may be asked to grant this access in order for OnPay to work with tax offices on your behalf.

Third-party access for the Maryland Department of Labor

  1. Log into your BEACON account
  2. Under "Your Options," click Account Maintenance
  3. Select Agent Assignment
  4. Select Add Agent.
  5. Search for our agent ID: MD8P2M and click Search
  6. Click Select POA to upload your completed POA form
  7. Assign the following roles:
    • Wage Submission
    • Payment Submission
  8. Set the Access Begin Date for the date that you joined OnPay
  9. Click Save
