Why is this important?
OnPay works with government entities on your behalf, reporting new hires to state labor departments, calculating tax rates, paying taxes and insurance contributions, and filing financial reports. To do this effectively, you will need to authorize us to act on your behalf with tax offices for each state where your company has a tax obligation.
For example, if you operate in Mississippi and Alabama, you must complete and return a power of attorney for both states.
Department of Employment Security
Third-Party Agent (TPA) access for the Mississippi Department of Employment Security
- Log into MDES with your existing MDES info
- Go to My User Profile
- Click Add User
- New User name: "OnPay Tax Disbursement LLC"
- Abilities of: "Account Maintenance" and "Tax Reporting."
- Please email hello@onpay.com to let us know the username and password once you set us up as a user.
Power of Attorney (POA) for the Mississippi Department of Employment Security
- Download and print the Mississippi DES POA found at the bottom of this page.
- Complete the Taxpayer information
- Signature of Taxpayer(s) under "Authorization Agreement."
- Email the completed form to hello@onpay.com
Department of Revenue
Letter ID for the Mississippi Department of Revenue
- Provide us with your Mississippi Letter ID
- Email a copy of a letter received from the Mississippi Department of Revenue with a visible Letter ID to hello@onpay.com
- This Letter ID is required in order for OnPay to file and pay with the MS DOR on your behalf.
- If you cannot locate a correspondence with a Letter ID, please call the Mississippi Department of Revenue at (601) 923-7700.

- Tax Matters: Enter the applicable Account Number
- Signature of Taxpayer(s)
