Massachusetts TPA needed

 Required for OnPay to pay on your behalf 

Third-Party Administrator: Labor & Workforce Development

  1. Log into your Massachusetts Unemployment Services account
  2. Click Additional Services, then click Manage Third-Party Administrator Access
  3. If there is an Existing TPA, you will need to remove the access in order to add OnPay
    • Select the TPA that should no longer have access, click Remove, then click Next
    • Click Submit to remove the TPA’s access
  4. To add OnPay as your TPA:
    1. Click Add Third-Party Administrator, and click Next
    2. In the "Agent ID" field, enter OnPay's TPA ID: 112455, and click Next
    3. Check the box for Account Type: Employer​
    4. Select No for "Do you want to grant this third party administrator access to perform benefit charges protests or wage separation mailing"​
    5. Click Next
    6. Click Submit to grant access 

 

 Required for OnPay to pay on your behalf 

Third-Party Access: Department of Revenue

  1. Log into MassTaxConnect
  2. Click the Manage My Profile link in the upper right, then click More… 
  3. Under "Third Party Access", click View Access Requests From Third Parties
  4. Look for an access request from "OnPay Tax Disbursement LLC", and click Approve/Deny

    Note: If you don't see an access request from us, ask our team to initiate TPA access.

  5. In the "Give Rights" column, select the following tax accounts:
    • Withholding Tax
    • Paid Family and Medical Leave
  6. In the "Granted Rights" column, select File and Pay
  7. Click Next to review our information, then click Submit to confirm our access

Reminder
OnPay also needs you to enter your state tax IDs and tax rates in order to properly calculate and remit all state taxes. See all Massachusetts tax guides→

 


 

Forms you may need to complete upon request

You may be asked to take these steps in order for OnPay to communicate with tax offices.

Power of Attorney for the state of Massachusetts

  1. Download and print the Massachusetts Power of Attorney form
  2. Complete the following sections of Part 1:
    • Section A: Taxpayer Information
    • Section E: Signature of or for the taxpayer(s)
    • Section F: Signature of a notary public with a notary seal
  3. Mail the completed, notarized form to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue
  4. Submit a request and attach a copy of your form
