Required for OnPay to pay on your behalf
Third-Party Access for the Kansas Department of Revenue
Because Kansas requires withholding tax to be filed and paid electronically, all we need is for you to submit a request, and provide:
- Your Withholding Tax ID
- Your Kansas Access Code

About Kansas Department of Revenue Access Codes (sometimes called a PIN)
- Your Kansas Access Code is a 6 or 7 digit number specific to each tax account
- Access codes are assigned by the Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR)
- If you do not know your PIN/Access Code you may call the KDOR Electronic Services unit at 1-800-525-3901 or by e-mail, KDOR_BusinessTaxEServices@ks.gov
- You can also email eservices@kdor.ks.gov
- You should receive a response within two business days to any emails to these address
Submit a request and provide your Withholding Tax ID and Access Code.

Reminder
OnPay also needs you to enter your state tax IDs and tax rates in order to properly calculate and remit all state taxes. See all Kansas tax guides→
Forms you may need to complete upon request
You may be asked to take these steps in order for OnPay to communicate with tax offices.
Power of Attorney for the Kansas Department of Revenue
- Download the Kansas DOR Power of Attorney form
- Complete the following sections:
- Section 1: Taxpayer Information
- Section 3: Signature of Taxpayer or Taxpayers
- Submit a request and attach a copy of your completed form

Power of Attorney for the Kansas Department of Labor
- Download the Kansas DOL Power of Attorney form
- Complete sections 1-3: KS UI Account Number, Employer Name, Employer Address
- The taxpayer will need to sign at the bottom of the form
- Submit a request and attach a copy of your completed form
