What we'll cover
Why is this important?
OnPay works with government entities on your behalf, reporting new hires to state labor departments, calculating tax rates, paying taxes and insurance contributions, and filing financial reports. To do this effectively, you will need to authorize us to act on your behalf with tax offices for each state where your company has a tax obligation.
For example, if you operate in both Kansas and Nebraska, you must complete and return a power of attorney for both states.
Department of Labor
Power of Attorney (POA) for the Kansas Department of Labor
- Download the KS DOL POA found at the bottom of this page
- Complete sections 1-3: KS UI Account Number, Employer Name, Employer Address
- The taxpayer will need to sign at the bottom of the form
- Email your completed Power of Attorney form to hello@onpay.com
Department of Revenue
Third-Party Access (TPA) for the Kansas Department of Revenue
Because Kansas requires Withholding Tax to be filed and paid electronically, all we need to get started is your Withholding Tax ID and your Kansas Access Code.
- Kansas Access Codes are Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR) assigned 6 or 7 digit numbers specific to each tax account. If you do not know your PIN/Access Code you may call the KDOR Electronic Services unit at 1-800-525-3901 or by e-mail, KDOR_BusinessTaxEServices@ks.gov. You can also email eservices@kdor.ks.gov. You should receive a response within two business days to any emails to these address.
Once you've received your Withholding Tax ID and Access Code, please email them to hello@onpay.com.
