Rightworks has announced the discontinuation of its Autofy integration services, effective June 30, 2024. This means, beginning July 1, 2024, Autofy will no longer function as an integrator between Intuit QuickBooks and third-party applications, including OnPay. To minimize the impact of this change, OnPay clients using QuickBooks Desktop + Autofy will need to establish a new method of transferring payroll data from OnPay to QuickBooks Desktop on or before June 30, 2024.
Did you know?
Did you know you can export pay run data to QuickBooks Desktop as an IIF file? And because this feature is built right into OnPay, there's nothing new to install or setup.

FAQ
Is an integration like Autofy required in order to export pay run data from OnPay to QuickBooks Desktop?
No. While services like Autofy facilitate the automatic syncing of payroll data in QuickBooks Desktop, OnPay clients can always export their pay run data as an IIF (Intuit Interchange Format) file. This file includes the account mapping you set up in OnPay when you enabled the QuickBooks Desktop integration, and can be imported into QuickBooks Desktop with just a few steps.
Will this affect how OnPay syncs with QuickBooks Online?
No. OnPay's QuickBooks Online integration securely exports pay run data to QuickBooks Online automatically, each time you process payroll. There's no need for additional software in this case.
If I already have Autofy Desktop Agent installed on my computer, will it still work after June 30th?
No. Rightworks' Autofy integration services will cease to function on July 1, 2024. Even though the Autofy Desktop Agent is installed on your computer, the online servers needed to support this integration can not be accessed by the Autofy Desktop Agent starting July 1, 2024.
